Last friday a friend and me went to Luxembourg to do some Urban Exploring. We left in the afternoon, since we were both recovering from a hangover from the night before. When we finally arrived at the camping, it was dinner time. Afther that, we went drinking some beers with "Shantideva", who I've met a few weeks before in an underground quarry. On saterday, we visited 2 classic locations nearby and in the evening we hooked up with Shantideva and his crew in order to visit some underground iron ore mines. Afther hours of walking and few photographs later, we arrived back at the camping at 04.00 AM. Needless to say we were totally exhausted and took things very slow on Sunday. On monday we left back home again, visiting 2 other locations on our way back. 
Thanks to Jean-Claude and Ton, I've had a fantastic weekend.

Last week, a friend and me went to the new futuristic train-station in Liege. The train station opened in 2009 and was designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls. His most famous project is the "City of Arts and Sciences" in Valencia.

Because of the amazing architecture, the train-station has become a very popular photo-location. At first, I didn't want to go there because a few hundred photographers went there before me, making it almost impossible to do something original. But since I couldn't find a better location last week, I decided to go anyway, and I don't regret it at all. Actually when we had to leave I still wasn't finished photographing so I have to make a revisit soon :-)

Last thursday, a friend and me went on a camping trip to Côte d'Opale in France. However the next day I woke up with a giant swollen jaw, caused by a abscess and heavy tooth-pain. On saturday we decided it was best to return home again, earlier as planned, in order to get medical attention.

But despite of all the pain and the rain, I still managed to make a few shots..

After more then three years of good service, my trusty Nikon D80 got broken.

Since a few months I've had troubles attaching the camera to a tripod. The screw thread on the body got forced and I was unable to attach it properly. With the help of some DIY tools I was able to temporary fix the problems, but that only worked for a few weeks. So we brought the camera to Nikon Belgium  where they told me reparation would cost about 250€ since they had to replace the whole bottem part of the camera..
